Aloha Kathy... and family,
I met your husband the other evening as he strolled thru my retail store, patiently awaiting your conclusion of a 'ladies gathering'. We chatted about a variety of topics, one of which was you. He not only gave me his card, but one of yours.I'm sorry I didn't immediately recognize your NAME, but immediately when I saw your card logo... I recognized your work. Since childhood, I have dabbled in water colors for self gratification and to exercise my right brain as at times the left is on overload... anyways, I APPRECIATE fine art, put to medium with not only nutured skill, but the passion from within ones self...and your art is just that. Have a continued happy, prosperous life of love and good health, sincere alohas,

ra'chelle ching

Kathy,

I am a photographer in training and found your artwork to be inspiring. Your work is beautiful. I really like the color and composition of your art and your choice of subject. I am new to hula, learning through our daughter's keiki hula lessons.

I also liked your personal page. I found it to be very heartwarming.

Aloha.

Kathy,

I was just brought into the 21st century by my children 2 weeks ago. I am now on line at 70. Ta Da! I first saw your work at the Waikaloa Village. I was so moved by the piece I had to see more of your work. I fell in love with "Pau". Having been a Hawaiian dancer about 50 years ago it brought back such wonderful memories. My children gave me this fabulous gift which I cherish. One of the first thoughts was to share an old photo of our dance troupe with you. We had done the Sullivan Show and worked at the Latin Quarter with Dorothy Lamour. Even though it is pau.... you brought it all back.
Thank you,
Pua Mana (Iris)

Met your husband at your booth during Merrie Monarch, and we talked for quite a while with he, myself, and my daughter. Completely enjoyable from start to finish. Speaking of finish, I believe he is (Finnish). Ask him if he remembers MaryAnn and Hannah — the publisher of art books and the theatre masters student at NYU. We will certainly remember the discussion about the young man who washes windows. ) Most of all, we love your fabulous art work. I’ve enjoyed seeing more on your website.

Mahalo, and Aloha,

I was at a friends birthday party and she had one of your pieces. I don't recall the name of it but I did remember your name and glad to see you were on the web. I'm also happy to see you are on the Big Island. We will be at the Hapuna Prince from Thanksgiving to the next Saturday. I would love to see more of your work. Mahalo for sharing your gift..

Good Afternoon,

I am Brendon's first grade teacher. Our hallway and room have been decorated with the islands and facts of Hawaii. Kathleen showed me your website and said that you live in Hawaii. Our first grade students are learning all about Hawaii, the ocean and volcanoes. It is so neat to have a connection to Hawaii. Brendon is the first student I have taught that has a relative that lives in Hawaii. It would be wonderful if you could send us a greeting.

My husband and I will be traveling to Hawaii (Oahu and Maui) next June. We are looking forward to our trip.

I love your website.

As I recall you and family should be enjoying the Ritz in Kapalua.

We enjoyed and felt blessed to meet you and your great husband at the Mauna Lani for art and lunch! So lucky to have made friends on the Big Island (Kathy Clark) who have lead us to other opportunities.

Will watch for anything you & your mom might work on together. Enjoy Japan!

Aloha, Rhonda (SMACNA)

We have met your husband during one of our rare trips to the Big Island and Parker Ranch.
My brother Jeff and wife Linda live and work there. That is where I first found your work... I have 3 prints now and they grace the walls of our family/dining room. I make it easy for brother to send gifts along with the Merrie Monarch video tapes each year. You render a quality and feeling that makes me wish I had so much more experience with the Hawaiian culture. Aloha.... Randy

Simply stunning! It is said a picture says a thousand words. By merely viewing your work I can hear the mele and the gourd drums. With every due respect to Mr. Kane, you have exceeded his ability to capture old Hawai'i. I am most impressed.
